TMS therapy uses strong magnetic pulses to stimulate a localized region of the brain. This produces a clinical benefit without medication side-effects or the adverse effects associated with electro-convulsive therapy (ECT). As healthy brain function returns over the course of treatment, depressive symptoms subside.

TMS treatment for depression is covered by most insurances, including those listed below. Our office team works diligently to obtain TMS treatment approval and will review your benefits with you prior to starting the TMS treatment course. Based upon your coverage and benefits, we’ll also let you know if any insurance copay or out-of-pocket expenses are involved prior to starting the course of care.
Please note that TMS therapies for anxiety, OCD, and PTSD are considered elective services and are not covered procedures. Patients will need to pay privately for TMS therapy for any of these disorders. Our office accepts most major credit cards, cash, or check payments.
